Hoody print in simple 3 color style

Screen printing is a stencil method of print making in which a design is imposed on a screen of silk or other fine mesh, with blank areas coated with an impermeable substance. A squeegee is used to force ink through the mesh openings onto the printing surface. It is also known as silk screening.

Vancouver Island based company, Threadscape, located in Nanaimo, Canada offers top quality screen printed apparel ranging from American Apparel and Gildan T-shirts, to Canso or King Fashion hooded sweatshirts, Ogio polo shirts and Kobe team jerseys, to name a few.

Screen Printing FAQs

  1. Do you have a minimum order for screen printing?

24 pieces is the standard minimum.

  2. What kind of artwork do you need for screen printing?

As with any digital process, the better the supplied image, the better the final product. While we prefer to work with vector graphics, or high resolution bitmaps, we will work with whatever you provide to create the best possible outcome.* File formats we prefer to work with include: Adobe (eps, ai, or pdf), Coreldraw (cdr), as well as jpg, tif, or bmp. (300 dpi or better is ideal)
*If you do not have print ready artwork, we can create your logo exactly as you want it to appear. There will, however, be an art charge of $40 per hour (one hour minimum).

  3. What is your turnaround time for screen printing orders?

Screen printed orders may take a little longer, usually not more than 2 weeks.

Important: To begin the order time line, it is crucial that all artwork is approved prior to production.
